Well, I'm living in University Court apartments this year at Pitt. I'm uber psyched because the campus is so pretty and I love the curriculum they have set up for the major/majors I want. If I decide to double major, I'll start school year-round, meaning I'll take summer sessions as well. I want to get out in 4 years so I can start my life.

My so-called life right now consists of working. I'm done at Subway...I stopped working there a few days ago. I'll go back over long breaks because I enjoy working there. It's easy money, if I do say so. If I end up not having the other half of my tuition payment, I'm going to work there full time until Spring when I can either go back to Pitt or start at CCAC. Things are very up in the air right now and it's quite depressing. My parents didn't come up with their half of the tuition payment. I can't get a loan through my parents because of my dad's credit and my mom can't cosign because he ruined her credit, too. I have no credit because I'm scared to death to get a credit card. By next week, If my dad doesn't have the money he owes, I'm dropping out of Pitt and taking the semester off. I'll work full time, buy a car, start back up at CCAC, then go to Pitt main when the time is right. I'm very upset and I hope that things don't turn out this way. I want this tremendous weight to be lifted off my shoulders....somehow.

No matter the way it turns out, I still have my first month paid for at Pitt, so I'll be there, guaranteed, for a month. That calls for some excitement!!

I'm glad and sad that this summer is coming to an end. I'm glad that it's ending because there are some things at home that will be left at home. If I come home next summer and the same bad things are here or if they come back, I'm going to leave for good. I'm sad because I'll miss my best friends and my puppy. I'll miss having a car and my own room with a big TV...but most of all and ultimately, friends and puppy. Yeah, they're pretty much my whole world. I'm also glad because hopefully I'll get to meet some nice boys...all of my guy friends have moved on to greener pastures.

I'm off to make "The Shit" list with annie and julie. We're making a list of things that are "the shit", like our three green machines, school bus demolition derbies, smores, etc. WORD!
